We recommend a engine tune up every 50,000 miles or so, depending on your car & your driving habits. When you bring your car in, we will analyze your vehicles performance, and make adjustments as needed. This could include replacing the PCV & ERG valve, the spark plugs & wiring, fuel filter, & air filter.

Transmission Service

Most manufacturers recommend a transmission flush every 30,000 miles or every two years,  Draining and flushing the used fluid from the transmission washes away tiny particles of dirt, clutch material, and metal shavings. We can also replace your transmission filter.

Timing Chain / Belt Replacement

Your cars timing chain or belt prevents the piston from striking the valves in an interference engine. A timing belt is a rubber belt, while a timing chain is a metal roller chain. Today, most cars have timing belts instead of timing chains.  You will need to have your car's timing belt replaced, as per manufacturers recommendation.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

If your check engine light unexpectedly comes on after you have just put gas in

your tank:

Check Your Gas Cap to make sure it is in place and tightened properly. If it is not, this could trigger a check engine light warning.

If this does not turn off the check engine warning light, check your fluids, then bring your car to us so we can diagnose the problem.

ABS BRAKE WARNING LIGHT

If your ABS Brake Warning light comes on

it is possible that you could have a brake failure or a sensor issue. We advise you to

call us for an appointment or drop by the shop to have us check for problems with your brake system. You may need new brakes or have a ABS brake system problem.

ENGINE TEMPUTURE WARNING LIGHT

If your Engine Temperature Warning light comes on, stop your car at once and check your coolant level. Caution! You radiator will be hot and under extreme pressure so you will need to wait for it to cool before attempting to open the safety cap. After cooling, open the safety cap slowly and protect your hands and face from the pressure that will be released.
